Video Tips -

Here are some snippets to help you manage your curls!

Videos 1-7 are showing how to style with head forward while videos 8 onwards show styling with head backwards.

  1. Here I am shampooing at the roots of the curls (not the mid length to ends). The hair will naturally be cleaned by the product when you rinse it off. Section the curls to add the shampoo to just the roots.

2. In this video, I am adding the conditioner from the mid-length to ends.

3. In this video, I am detangling the curls using a tiny amount of conditioner, a wide tooth comb and lots of water.

4. In this video, I am tipping the head forward and combing in sections out from the roots to create volume and to put the curls in the correct position to dry.

5. Here I am adding a cap lid of product to soaking wet curls with the head leant forward.

6. Here I’m squeezing out the product with the equivalent of a t-shirt, squeezing the curls from end to roots to set the curls higher up the head.

7. Here I have squeezed the water out and I’m adding a bit more product (cap full) from ends to roots.

These videos below are showing styling with the head backwards rather than forwards.

8. In this video gel is being applied to soaking wet hair by stroking downwards from roots to ends.

9. In this video I am squeezing the water out with the equivalent of a t-shirt after applying some gel onto the soaking wet hair.

10. In this video, I’m diffusing with the head laid back and hovering with the diffuser.
