I started hairdressing 33 years ago. For most of my life I have struggled with my own curls with straightening products and anything that would hide what was really me, even as a hairdresser I felt I couldn’t be natural. I soon realised after losing hair after having a baby, that I was hiding all these curls and I needed to embrace them. And so my own curly hair journey began-and I haven’t looked back!.

The haircut you will receive from me is an interpretation of a deva-cut, which has come from the training I did at the Devachan Academy in America. I studied the technique in LA and New York and combined with my extensive dedicated curly hair experience, I provide a specialist tailored personal experience for your unique curls. I have also recently completed a course in Paris called the Rezo cut, which is all about cutting the curls in circles as this is how the curls grow.

When you book a haircut with me Curl Whisperer, I am the only one who will work on your curls from start to finish. For me its important to complete the whole service myself and get to know you and your curls in the process.

You might notice that I might not write the perfect sentence with perfect grammar but that is ok , its about having the confidence to be who you really are. Don’t hide your individuality as it shows you’re not being true to yourself, this goes for your curls too.
